Application
The first step in the application process is to complete an application form. This will provide us with the essential data to match your profile with any available positions or positions that are becoming available in the time frame you have specified.
With referees, it is important to ensure that your current or most recent employer is listed as a referee and that all referees are aware that they have been nominated. New teachers should nominate three of their former lecturers as referees. Do not list personal referees, or anyone who cannot comment on your teaching ability, as resorts are only interested in professional references.
Each referee will receive a request to provide written feedback on your teaching and relationships with students and peers. These confidential checks will be made available to prospective resorts only when you are short-listed for a teaching position.

Placement
Resorts request teaching positions throughout the year, with distinct mid and end of the year peaks. Once your details are in our data base it will be constantly matched with current positions and those that become available in a known timeframe that matches your availability selection. It is up to you to keep us updated, if any changes occur in your circumstance.
If you are short listed:
1 - You will be contacted by us to check on your availability status and to see if the teaching position suits your interests, if your passport is valid etc.
2 - Your referees will be contacted by us to obtain more detailed information on your teaching abilities.
3 - The shortlist will be presented to the resort operator, with information on the teachers incl. the confidential data we have gathered from the referees.
4 - The resort operator will request us to arrange (video or telephone) interviews at a suitable time with the teachers they were selected from the short list.
5 - If you are successfully selected for the position you will need to sign the mutually agreed version of the In-House Teacher Services Agreement and you will be further advised how to prepare for the placement.

The Cost
There are no application costs or fees associated with your successful placement in a school. These costs are borne by the school. |
